Dominican College Occupational Therapy
Dominican College offers in its Weekend College program a combined-degree program in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor of Science/Master of Science) open to undergraduates seeking their first baccalaureate degree as well as to graduate students who already hold baccalaureate degrees in other fields. Different program tracks are designed for those who have Occupational Therapy Assistant (O.T.A.) backgrounds and those who are studying this field for the first time.
3-Year Pre-Professional Program
Students beginning their undergraduate careers in the College’s traditional weekday sessions have the option of pursuing a pre-professional curriculum that facilitates progress to the BS/MS degree in Occupational Therapy (O.T.).
Two possible paths to your degree:
B.S./M.S. in Occupational Therapy
After you complete the College’s General Education Curriculum requirements and all B.S./M.S. prerequisite courses, you’ll enter directly into the professional curriculum in Occupational Therapy.
B.A. in Social Sciences and B.S./M.S. in Occupational Therapy
Complete your prerequisites and designated courses in a prescribed sequence and you’ll finish your senior year with both a B.A. degree in Social Sciences and a year’s advanced standing in the OT professional curriculum.
Students who wish to complete both the B.A. in Social Sciences and the B.S./M.S. in O.T. will need to earn six additional liberal arts credits (90 total credits of liberal arts) beyond those listed above.
